Peter Vick
When the FGR Supporters Trust was formed in July 2008, Peter was invited to become Honorary President but, due to health reasons, he declined on the basis that he didn’t feel he would be able to be as supportive as he would like; so typical of the great man. Peter was fully behind the formation of the Trust believing that any help and assistance fans were able to offer the Football Club was positive. He was delighted when he heard news that the Trust had made him an honorary member.
Peter, the honour was all ours, you will be sadly missed.
Club legend Peter Vick recently passed away and news of his death was met with great sadness by everyone involved with the Supporters Trust and more widely within Forest Green Rovers FC. Peter was associated with the Club for over 70 years, undertaking almost every possible role and even in later life, he remained fully committed to his much loved FGR, attending as many meetings as possible in his official capacity as Club President.
