Supporters of FGR will be well aware of the name Ryan Asson, the young 14 year old lad from Telford who was cruelly injured as a consequence of the brick throwing incident, following our recent Setanta Shield Final against AFC Telford United. It was pleasing to see him return to the New Lawn on Saturday and for him to receive a very warm welcome from all the supporters of Forest Green Rovers FC.

Immediately after the incident became public, the Trust Board took the opportunity to write to the Chairman of the Telford United Supporters Trust on behalf of our membership, expressing our sadness and dismay at events with a request that our thoughts and good wishes be conveyed to Ryan and his family.
