The Trust has come about following an announcement from the club to work towards a change in constitution to that of a Company limited by shareholding. A fans' vote confirmed almost unanimous support for the formation of a Trust.
The key aim of the Trust is to purchase shares in the football club on behalf of Trust members and to give the ordinary supporter a stronger voice in the running of the club through share ownership and board representation. We also aim to help promote the club with a view to increasing the fan base and establishing the club at the heart of the Gloucestershire community.
Where is Forest Green?
The New Lawn, home to Forest Green Rovers, is tucked away on top of the hill overlooking Nailsworth, with panoramic views over the surrounding valley. Nailsworth is located in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
